This version of DetectorPack is compatible with Axxon One 2.0 and later versions.

New functionality

Optimization and improvements

  1. Performed the optimization that allows using the Nvidia GPU more effectively and results in increased performance of the following detectors:
  2. Added new countries for the License plate recognition RR, License plate recognition RR—Search in archive, License plate recognition RR—Parking detectors: Belize, New Zealand, Turkey, UAE. We've also improved tracking of vehicles without license plates and recognition of vehicle brands and models.
  3. Added a new country for the License plate recognition VT detector: Tanzania
  4. Added a feature to accumulate the background mask of static objects when the Hide static objects parameter is enabled in the Neural tracker detector . By default, the Hide static objects parameter is disabled to reduce the load on the CPU.
  5. Added a new DISABLE_CALC_HSV environment variable for the Neural tracker detector, which allows disabling object color detection to reduce the load on the CPU

Update

Recommendations

  1. If the detector pack 3.7.4 version and earlier that includes all analytics tools (not divided into plugins) is installed in Linux OS, then before updating, you must remove the installed package without using purge (complete package deletion) by running the following command:
    sudo dpkg --remove --force-depends axxon-detector-pack
    and then install the necessary plugins.
  2. In upcoming versions of Axxon One, we will change the interface of the Detectors tab. Also, we will separate the configuration of the detector and the creation of the Automatic rules macros into two tabs. For the Countries parameter, we will add the ability to select the unlimited number of countries for the License plate recognition RR, License plate recognition VT, License plate recognition IV detectors.

Limitations

  1. When you update Face Recognition Pack add-ons (see Installing DetectorPack add-ons), the results of the previously recognized persons will become unavailable. If you want to keep the previously recognized persons, don't update the analytics package.
  2. Updated SDK of VI detectors: changed licensing from Sentinel to Guardant in OS Linux. When you update to this DetectorPack version, contact the manager from whom you previously purchased a key to request key replacement.
  3. The License plate recognition BRS detector is no longer supported.
  4. After you update DetectorPack packages, you must recreate the following detectors:
