New features and improvements

  1. Completely redesigned the internal transport mechanism of Axxon PSIM.
  2. x86 modules are no longer supported. We removed the option to install x86 modules.
  3. Optimized module connection to the kernel.
  4. Added the ability to encrypt all types of traffic using certificates installed in the system.
  5. Updated the mechanism of synchronization of the system configuration to be more reliable and modern. Added a mechanism of forced synchronization that you can start by clicking the Synchronization button on the Programming tab.
  6. Added support for the NGP decoder (GPU+CPU) for all detectors. You can enable it by setting the Use decoder NGP (GPU+CPU) checkbox on the settings panel of the Camera object
  7. Added the Handrail grip detection that you can create on the basis of the Person location tracker
  8. Added the Crowd detection (VA) that is based on the SDK VA. The Crowd detection (VA) counts the number of people in the processed frames in each selected area and in areas in total
  9. Updated the Detection of light indication control
  10. Added the following VI detectors:  VI abandoned objects detection, VI abandoned objects street detection, VI detection of camera state, VI detection of crowd, VI detection of movement in prohibited area, VI detection of prohibited direction
  11. Added the Stopped object detector
  12. Added support for the neural model training service TIY (Train It Yourself). It allows you to use your own trained models. Added the Object presence detector. You can create several detectors for one camera.
  13. Added the Fight detector.
  14. Added the Pose detection that you can create on the basis of the Person location tracker. You can change the neural network model when you use the Pose detection
  15. Added the Close-standing people detection as a part of the Pose detection
  16. In addition to detecting people without proper equipment, you can now use the Equipment detection (PPE) to detect the presence of a person in PPE
  17. Added the field for selecting target object classes to the settings panels of the Neurotracker and Neurocounter . You can enter the numbers of classes that must generate events from detectors into this field. We also added support for new neural networks: People view from above (Nano), People view from above (Medium), People view from above (Large), People view from above (Nano), People view from above (Medium), People view from above (Large). Implemented model quantization that allows reducing the consumption of GPU power, including when the configuration was inaccurately calculated or operating conditions have changed.
  18. Added the scanning mode for NeurocounterNeurotracker, Smoke detection, and Fire detection. When you enable the scanning mode, the frame is processed in sections, which improves the quality of detection of small objects
  19. Added the ability to filter objects using the neurofilter of the Neurotracker; set detection areas; and save tracks for later display in the archive. Added the additional settings tab for the track hold time and object appearance parameters. Added the ability to display information about events, coordinates, and types of objects detected by the Neurotracker, which can be used when writing scripts
  20. You can now set an arbitrary detection area, not just a rectangular area, in the settings of the Smoke detection, Fire detection, and Equipment detection (PPE)
  21. Added the ability to select the color of alarm outline in the settings of the Pose detection and Shooter detection
  22. Added the ability to select a neural network, the Generate alarm on camera checkbox, and alarm duration setting to the settings panels of the Smoke detection and Fire detection
  23. Added the Event type drop-down list to the settings panel of the Traffic light detection. You can use this drop-down list to select the event generation modeBy state change, By period, By period and state change

Other

  1. Reduced the load on the CPU and GPU by decoding the video stream once within a single process when you create several detectors for one camera.
  2. Added the ability to save the processed frame to a file, which can be useful when debugging detectors.
  3. Added support for the NVIDIA Blackwell GPU architecture.
  4. Updated and improved documentation.

Version features

DetectorPack PSIM 2.0 is compatible with Axxon PSIM 2.0. For the detailed information about the compatibility of product versions, see here.

You can download the current version of the DetectorPack PSIM 2.0 distribution package from the AxxonSoft official website or request it from technical support at support.axxonsoft.com.

When you update from an older version of DetectorPack PSIM, you don't need to uninstall the previous version, as the new version is installed over the old version. For details, see Installation.
