By default, the client logging level is determined by the settings specified in a special utility (see Log management utility). However, you can temporarily change the client logging level for quick analysis of current logs.
Changes made to the logging level remain in effect until you exit the client. The next time you start the client, the logging level will match the logging level that you set in the log management utility.
To temporarily change the client logging level:

| TRACE | All system events are logged | |
| DEBAG | Debug events, information messages, system warnings, and system errors are logged | |
| WARN | System warnings and system errors are logged | |
| ERROR | Only system errors are logged | |
The client logging level is changed.
