Titles search

Titles search allows you to find the necessary words in the titles database received from the POS devices (see Configuring POS devices). To search by titles, do the following:

1. Open the required layout (see Configuration of layouts).

2. Select the required camera.
3. Click the Search button located in the lower right corner of the surveillance window (see Search in archive).
4. Set the search interval (see Setting a search interval).
5. Click the  button.
6. Select Titles search.
7. Set the search criteria specified in the table.

   Search results output		Select one of the search methods from the drop-down list Note For example, the word "Milk" appears in two receipts and is mentioned twice in each of them. The search results are as follows: Receipts with specified text—two frames are displayed, since the word is contained in two receipts. Single titles containing specified text—four frames are displayed since, in total, the word appears four times in receipts.
   	Receipts with specified text	The default value. Frames containing receipts with the search text are displayed as search results. The number of frames is equal to the number of receipts that contain the search text
   	Single titles containing specified text	Frames containing the search text are displayed as search results. The number of frames is equal to the number of search words in the receipts
   Enter text		Enter the text that you want to find in the titles. You can search the whole word or part of it Attention! You must enter at least three characters. The search is performed by the entire text that you entered, not by individual words. You cannot search by empty string.

   
   

8. Click the Search button.

   Note

   You can stop the search process at any time. To do this, click the Stop  button that replaces the Search button.

The search results panel displays the frames that match the specified search criteria. The time of the found events corresponds to the start time of the receipt, not the time of the appearance of the search text.
