The Speaker object is the audio playback device.

The Speaker object is registered on the basis of the Audio playback card object on the Hardware tab of the System settings dialog window.

To configure the Speaker object, do the following:

  1.  Go to the settings panel of the Speaker object.
     
  2. From the Codec drop-down list (1), select the coding format of the played audio signal. The following codecs are supported:
    1. PCM
    2. G.711
    3. G711_alaw
    4. G721
    5. G.723
    6. G726_16
    7. G726_32
    8. IMA_ADPCM
    9. G726_SUN16
    10. G726_FFMPEG_16
    11. G726_FFMPEG_32
    12. G726_40
    13. G726_SUN24
    14. G726_FFMPEG_24
    15. G726_FFMPEG_40
    16. PCM_8
    17. VNDR.0.9
  3. Select the channel number of the speaker connection to the audio card from the list of the same name (2).
  4. To save the changes, click the Apply button (3).
  5. Select the created object from the Speaker list on the Operator tab of the Computer object settings panel—see Selecting speaker, microphone and camera for SIP-operator.

  6. Click the Apply button.

Note

You can configure several Speaker objects in the system. When you change a speaker using the Speaker list on the settings panel of the Computer object, you must restart Axxon PSIM on the computer where this device is used.

Configuring the Speaker object is complete.
