Two-factor authentication

User security policy

User security policy allows you to:

• Specify the minimum password length.
• Specify the number of last passwords of each user that must be stored in history:
  • do not keep a password history;
  • passwords that are stored in history cannot be used when setting a new password.
• Specify the password validity period in days. After the specified period expires, the user is prompted to set a new password. The password validity period can also be unlimited.
• Select what must meet the complexity requirements: not defined, password only, username and password. Requirements:
  • Username:
    • Must contain at least six characters and at least two digits;
    • Must not match common names: user, admin, administrator, administrator1, root, super, superuser, supervisor.
  • Password must contain at least eight characters that must meet at least three requirements for passwords containing less than 10 characters and at least two requirements for passwords containing 10 or more characters:
    • at least one uppercase letter;
    • at least two lowercase letters;
    • at least three digits;
    • at least four special characters: . , : ; ! ? \ | / ( ) [ ] { } + − = < >" @ ' # * $ ` % ^ & _ ~.
• Prohibit multiple sessions of a single user account. This requirement also applies to Web-Clients and mobile Clients.
• Specify the number of failed authentication attempts for the user, after which the account is locked. After the user is unlocked, the user has only one authentication attempt. If it is successful, the counter of the number of failed attempts is reset, otherwise the account is locked again.
• Specify the duration of account lockout in minutes after failed authentication attempts. If necessary, the account can only be unlocked by the administrator

Working with multiple distributed clusters of Axxon One

Сluster is a logical consolidation of Servers between which nodes can be moved. A cluster can include nodes from different domains. The main aspects of working with distributed clusters in Axxon One are:

• Support of the distributed systems where multiple servers can operate on a single network, providing scalability and high failover protection.
• All servers in the cluster can be centrally managed from a single administration interface. This simplifies the monitoring and management of the entire video surveillance system.
• To ensure reliability and data integrity, you can configure data replication between servers in the cluster. This means that data is stored on multiple servers, which protects against information loss in case of failures or accidents.
• If you use multiple servers in the cluster, the load among them can be automatically distributed. This improves system performance and ensures stable operation even under intensive load
