The Event viewer object is a child-object of the Display interface object and is used for displaying information about registered events in the interface box. Events may be registered both locally and on the computers in the distributed system.

Note.

Events transmission among computers is set in the Architecture tab in the Systems settings dialog box (see the Configuring the interaction of distributed system components section).

The Event viewer interface object is created and configured in the Interfaces tab of the System settings dialog box.

 

To configure the Event viewer interface object, do the following:

  1. Choose the events, information on which should be logged to the Events viewer interface object in case of its registration in the system (see Configuring event filters for displaying in the Event viewer).
  2. Set the parameters of the event viewer (see Event viewer parameters).
  3. Configure the displaying of the Event viewer interface box (see Parameters of displaying the Event Viewer interface box).
