The Load configuration function allows you to load the configuration parameters from a file with the .cfg extension that was created using the Save configuration function (see Save configuration function). The configuration parameters can be applied only to the objects of the same type as an object used to create the configuration file.
After you select the Load configuration menu item, a standard Windows dialog box appears, in which you can specify the necessary configuration file.
Note
Some configuration parameters that are unique for the objects of the given type may not be applied when the configuration is loaded.
For example, the PCI channel parameter of the Video Capture Device object won't be changed according to the configuration file if there is already a Video Capture Device object in the objects tree that has the same PCI channel parameter value. For more information on allocation of the PCI channels between the Video Capture Device objects, see Creating and configuring the Video Capture Device object in the Installing and configuring security system components guide.
