The Save configuration function allows you to save the current configuration parameters of an object to a file with the .cfg extension, so that these parameters can be used to configure other objects or to restore the configuration parameters of the current object after unexpected loss (for example, if an object is accidentally deleted).
After you select the Save configuration menu item, the standard Windows dialog box appears, in which you can specify the name of the configuration file and where you want to save it. By default, the file name includes the name of the object type and its number, for example CAM.1.cfg or GRABBER.3.cfg.
The saved configuration can be applied to any object of the same type that was used to create the configuration file. To do so, use the Load configuration function (see The Load configuration function).
