The Security zone panel is designed to define the common settings of the Axxon PSIM system. The settings panel of the Security zone object is shown in the figure.
The Basic settings tab
The RabbitMQ tab
The table describes the parameters of the settings corresponding to the elements of the settings panel of the Security zone object.
№ | Parameter | Method for entering the parameter | Parameter description | Symbols used | Default value | Value range |
The Settings group | ||||||
1 | Event viewer clearing time | Enter a value in the field using the up and down buttons | Indicates the time of day at which to start cleaning up the Event Viewer database in accordance with the Events archive length parameter | HH:MM:SS | Current system time at the moment of object setting panel opening | 00:00:00 to 23:59:59 |
2 | Events archive length | Type-in the value in the field | Specifies the number of days to store information about the events registered by Axxon PSIM and recorded into both Event Viewer and Incident server. This parameter affects all computers in a distributed system | Days | 3 | Not less than 0 |
3 | Object code | Type-in the value in the field | Defines the number of the access control card, which is automatically displayed in the User settings panel, when the object is being created in the Facility code field | Sequence of numbers | Not specified | More than 1 |
4 | Run macro at start | Is selected from the list | Defines the macro command, which will be automatically launched with the Axxon PSIM system startup | Names of the Macro objects registered in the system | Not specified | Depends on the number of Macro objects created in the digital distributed video surveillance system |
5 | Connections in the architecture | Is identified by the check mark | Specifies computers with which the created Computer object is to exchange system configuration parameters data: with all computers in the video surveillance system with distributed architecture or only with the Computer object under which the object was created | Boolean type | Not specified | Yes—when creating a new computer the Connection checkboxes in the Architecture tab are set checked for all computers in the architecture. No—when creating a new computer the Connection checkbox in the Architecture tab is set checked only for the computer on which this new object is created. |
6 | DNS instead of IP allowed | Checkbox | Enables setting address of Server/Remote Administrator’s workstation/Remote Client in the Architecture tab as DNS name—not only IP address | Boolean type | No | Yes—DNS name (instead of IP address) of Server/Remote Administrator’s workstation/Remote Client can be specified in the Architecture tab when configuring computer interoperability in distributed system. Validation of the specified address is disabled. No—IP address of Server/Remote Administrator’s workstation/Remote Client is to be specified in the Architecture tab when configuring computer interoperability in distributed system |
7 | Ping (sec.) | Type-in the value in the field | Sets Server-computer ping period | Non-negative integer number | 10 | >=0 |
8 | Show documentation by clicking F1 | Set the checkbox | Enables opening documentation in the .pdf format by clicking F1, when Axxon PSIM is started. 11 | offline | Checkbox | Enables offline synchronization of events | Boolean type | Yes | Yes—offline synchronization is enabled. When the computer is reconnected, it gets all the events for the period there was no connection. No—offline synchronization is disabled. When the computer is reconnected, it does not get the events for the period there was no connection |
12 | online | Checkbox | Enables online synchronization of events | Boolean type | Yes | Yes—online synchronization is enabled. Events are sent right after they happen according to computer interaction configuration parameters. No—online synchronization is disabled. Events are not sent |
