New integration modules

IDK Exporter, a service module for importing data from the Axxon PSIM database to Axxon One. It allows for bulk transfer of user data, access levels, time zones, and photos via API. Key features: import of full names with the external ID saved; transfer of standard and custom fields, including additional information; import of time zones; import of access levels with inheritance; import of photos with compression; import of cards with low-code processing. Implemented the connection diagnostics, processing of field restriction with truncation and warnings, and protection of logs from sensitive information.

Hikvision, ACS. Integrated the DS‑K1T342MFWX‑E1 and DS-K1T671TM-3XF face recognition panels. Added the support for photo identifiers that allow for managing employees, access points, access levels, and time zones, as well as monitoring of events and hardware status. Added the support for reading device configurations, writing data to hardware, and processing of entry/exit events. Added the ability to use hardware face recognition with the conversion of photo identifiers into vectors and uploading employee photos to the device.

New features and improvements

  1. BACnet Client:
    1. Changed the name of the integration module from BACnet Server to BACnet Client 
    2. Fixed the logging of the driver.
  2. Emulator ACFA:
    1. Added the ability to write employees.
    2. Stabilized the dynamic writing of employee attributes.
    3. Added emulation of access using different card types (Wiegand 26, Wiegand 32, Mifare 4, Mifare 7, Mifare 8, TouchMemory).
    4. Stabilized the re-reading of configuration.
    5. Added a new object: a virtual turnstile lock.
    6. Changed the setting block of geographic zones of an object.
  3. General driver part:
    1. Support for INFO, WARN, and ALARM event indices.
    2. Support for TouchMemory cards.
    3. Support for macro configuration when devices are turned off.
    4. Changed the names of options for configuration download and added the option to download ACS data.
    5. Support for writing time zones to the driver block.

Improvements to the service modules

Added a new Access Manager module that is used for management of access control at facilities with access control systems. The module allows for setting up employee movement rules, maintaining personnel structures, managing access levels and time zones, creating work schedules, calculating hours worked, printing access cards, and generating reports.

The server part of the module is included in the Axxon One ACFA Integration package. The client part is supplied as a separate package with its own installer and supports updates of the installed version. The module requires the following licenses for the plugin system and for the Access Manager plugin.

The Access Manager client includes the following features:

  • The app can run on top of all windows.
  • Confirmation when you exit the app.
  • You can choose between light and dark interface themes.
  • Search for and select a certificate in the authentication window.
  • Show and hide the password in the authentication window.
  • Return to the authentication page if the connection is lost.
  • Automatic scaling of interface for different screen sizes.
  • You can save the position of the window and settings of interface elements.
  • Interface design in the Axxon One color scheme.

Added the localization of the interface to the following languages: English, Spanish, French.

You can authorize in the module using the Axxon One username and password. We implemented the role-based division of rights, including operator and administrator roles. After a successful connection, authorization data is saved.

Departments

The Departments tab allows you to work with the company's structure and employees.

The following features are available:

  • You can create, edit, and delete departments .
  • You can build a hierarchical structure of departments .
  • You can work with child departments .
  • You can move through the department hierarchy.
  • You can cascade delete departments.
  • You can change departments for employees.
  • You can assign and change the permanent access level for a department.
  • You can perform a contextual search by department name .
  • You can check departments for duplicates.

The following features are available for employees:

  • Create, edit, and delete employees and visitors .
  • Edit employee profiles with double-click.
  • Manage main data and attributes of employees .
  • Assign and change a photo .
  • Upload a photo from a file .
  • Capture a photo from the camera .
  • Crop an image .
  • Block employees using card settings.
  • Assign and change a permanent access level.
  • Configure local antipassback.
  • Work with employee IDs: cards and PIN codes . You can assign IDs manually. Card expiration dates are checked, as well as duplicate cards and PIN codes.
  • Print passes .
  • Save a pass as a PDF .
  • Send a pass to a connected printer .

We implemented the support for the additional fields received from the integration block and custom employee fields created via a configuration file, database, or API.

Schedules 

The Schedules tab allows you to work with employee work schedules and time-based access parameters.

The following features are available:

  • You can create, edit, and delete schedules .
  • You can configure weekly intervals .
  • You can perform a contextual search by schedule name .
  • You can check for duplicates when creating a schedule.
  • You can view schedules created on other clients connected to the same server.
  • You can open the window for editing a schedule with a double click.

Access levels

The Access Levels tab allows you to configure rules for employee access to access points.

The following features are available:

  • You can create and edit access levels .
  • The inheritance of access levels from departments to employees .
  • You can assign time zones to access points associated with an access level.
  • You can add, replace, and delete access points.
  • You can select access points using a checkbox list .
  • You can filter access points within an access level by type.
  • You can perform a contextual search by access level name .
  • You can open the window for editing an access level with a double click.
  • You can check for duplicates when creating an access level.

Areas

The Areas tab allows you to configure the connection between geographic areas of an object and access points.

The following features are available:

  • You can create and delete areas .
  • You can create areas in the root of the hierarchy .
  • You can create child areas .
  • You can change the structure of areas .
  • You can view access areas.
  • You can view readers on the map.
  • You can view employees in an area.
  • You can view the list of area readers at entry and exit.
  • You can group readers by type.
  • You can rename areas.
  • You can edit the connected readers.
  • You can change reader areas.
  • You can perform a contextual search by area name .
  • You can add a description of an area .
  • You can view employees located in a specific area.
  • You can count users in an area.
  • You can edit users on the Areas tab.
  • You can expand child areas with a double click.

Event Manager

The Event Manager horizontal tab allows you to work with photo identification events and visually monitor the status of objects in Axxon One. Event Manager includes widgets for displaying events with the ability to select a display template for each event type; monitoring the status of groups of objects; a compact event log; and a widget for counting users in an area.

Photo identification

The following features are available for photo identification events:

  • You can select a display template for each event type.
  • You can monitor events from access control and fire alarm systems.
  • You can send reactions configured in a template.
  • You can prohibit the deletion of unprocessed events.
  • You can configure the automatic deletion of processed events.
  • You can configure the automatic selection of new events.
  • You can configure event sources.
  • You can select the acceptable types of objects.
  • You can select specific objects.
  • Support for object groups created in Axxon One.

States widget

The status widget allows you to monitor events of the access control and fire alarm systems.

The following features are available:

  • You can configure the displayed object types.
  • You can configure specific statuses.
  • You can filter by alarm level.
  • The Minimum information mode allows for displaying only alarm components of a multi-state.

Events widget

The events widget displays a compact list of events with time, object, and event information.

Presence widget

The presence widget displays the number of users located in the selected area.

Template Editor

The Template Editor horizontal tab allows you to create, edit, and save JSON templates.

The following features are available:

  • You can create and edit templates.
  • You can save templates to disk.
  • You can place elements on a template.
  • You can work with images.
  • You can capture a photo from a camera.
  • You can select a department.
  • You can select an employee.
  • You can select a print template.
  • You can select an available printer.
  • You can send a template to print.
  • You can place data from the Access Manager database on a template.
  • You can preview the template with employee data.
  • You can work with cameras through the editor interface.
  • You can access the template editor through the employee context menu on the Departments tab.

The template can use employee data, including photo, full name, department name, and other information from the database.

Reports

The Reports horizontal tab allows you to create reports on employee access.

The following types of reports are available:

  • Passages report allows you to view information about all entries of employees or a department for a selected period .
  • Presence report allows you to calculate the time employees or a department spent in a selected area .
  • Simple report allows you to calculate the time of presence by the first entry and last exit, ignoring intermediate access throughout the day .
  • Areas report displays a list of employees who were in the selected area during a specified period .

Version features

ACFA 15.0 integration modules are compatible with Axxon One 2.0.6 and higher. For the detailed information about the compatibility of product versions, see here. The Access Manager module is compatible with Axxon One 3.1.0.
