To set up the LPR channel do the following:

Some settings can be not available for some modules. If a setting is only applied for several modules it is indicated on a corresponding page.

  1. activate the program module, used for identifying the plates (see The structure of the Auto-Intellect system) by creating the corresponding object on the basis of LPR channel object;

  2. select cameras for operation with the LPR channel;

    Note.

    This step and further operations are performed on the LPR channel settings panel, on the basis of which the program module is activated.

    Attention!

    In case when Arena program module is used, the parent object LPR channel should not be set up.

  3. setting up the video recording parameters;
  4. setting up the LP storage and the database records retention period;
  5. setting up frame digital signature;
  6. selecting the emitter-country of vehicles' LP numbers that are to be identified;
  7. setting up the result of identifying the vehicle plates;
  8. setting up the joint operation of LPR channel and the Intellect PC Traffic detector;
  9. setting up the results filtering;
  10. setting up the joint operation of LPR channel and Radar program module;
  11. setting up the LPR search area border;
  12. selecting the vehicle direction for identifying the plates;
  13. setting up the LPR channel detector;
  14. setting up the frames processing;
  15. setting up the Traffic violations detection module;
  16. setting up the Parking violation detection module;
  17. setting up speed estimation by video;
  18. setting up license plate recognition upon request.
