By default, no events are displayed in the Incident manager. It is necessary to explicitly specify the objects, the events from which should be received and processed.
This can be done in two ways: events can be selected as a group (this method is described in Displaying and handling events in bulk), or each event can be selected individually in the following way:
From the list in the Type column (1), select the object type.
In the Logic list (7), select the logic that will be used to process the events of the selected object. Logics are created and configured on the Logic tab (see Creating and configuring the logic of event handling).
Attention!
It is required to select the logic, otherwise the object's events will not be displayed.
In the Timer (s) field (9), set the time in seconds from the moment the event occurred, after which the Time is over event will be generated. The timer will also count down the specified time in the interface in the Time(sec) column until it reaches zero.
Note
If grouping is enabled, then for groups the timer will apply to the last generated event with the specified timer.
In the Autoescalation (s) field (10), specify the time in seconds from the moment the event occurs, after which the event will be automatically escalated. Autoescalation is performed within one Incident handler and works if the operator has the escalation rights (see Configuring user rights in Incident manager).
Note
If grouping is enabled, autoescalation is applied to each event separately.
Repeat the actions described in step 2 for all required objects.
Note
To add a row to the table, select the last row and press the ↓ key on the keyboard. To delete rows from the table, use the Ctrl + Del key combination.
To clear the objects table, click the Clear button.
As a result, the Incident manager will display the events from the objects that were selected on the Filters tab of the Incident handler.
