Analytics

The release includes the Axxon DetectorPack 3.11.1 drivers package (see DetectorPack 3.11.1 Release Notes). Axxon One 2.0 distribution package includes only the basic detectors. Additional detector packages are installed separately (see Installing DetectorPack add-ons).

Downloads and licensing

The Axxon One installer includes both the client and server components. The distribution package is compatible only with the 64-bit (x64) systems. The client can be installed on a computer together with the server or installed on a separate dedicated client workstation. There is no limit on the total number of servers and clients in a system.

Axxon One has six license types: demo mode with limited operating hours, free version, and four types of paid licenses (Start, Professional, Enterprise, and Unified). Data on all the types of Axxon One licenses is given on this page.

Free version supports one server, four video streams, an unlimited archive, and an unlimited number of clients.

Updating from previous versions

To update from previous versions, run the installer for the new version and select the existing configuration during the installation. Uninstalling the previous version is not required.

Update limitations

  1. By default, the Web-Server doesn’t transcode the stream, which helps to avoid unpredictable CPU load on the server
  2. If you upgrade to the current version of Axxon One from earlier versions, you must add vector maps to Axxon One again. The previous settings of vector maps will be saved in the system
  3. If you upgrade to the current version of Axxon One from earlier versions, the default group permission to the camera Live/Archive and macros permissions can change to Inherited (No access). After the upgrade, you will need to configure the default group access permission to the camera and macros yourself

  4. Removed the SMS notifier object from the current version.
  5. Removed the Counters from the current version
