Configuration of video archiving consists of the following steps:
- Selecting the disks for video archive storage.
- Switching off/on the auto alarm recording mode.
- If a camera supports multistreaming, then select streams that are to be recorded to the archive upon alarm and those for continuous recording (see Configuration of multistream video).
- Configuring video frame rate and other video stream parameters if the multistream mode is in use (see Configuration of multistream video).
Configuring video in the Hot recording mode.
Note.
If different streams are selected for recording upon alarm and for continuous recording (see Configuration of multistream video), then hot recording is not performed.
